Site update – Still here

Hi everyone it has been a while since I updated the site due to real life getting in the way and time just going so quickly I was shocked when I realised it has been 18 months since the last update.

Don’t worry I haven’t forgotten the site, The Strokes or the fans. I’ve invested nearly 15 years in She’s Fixing Her Hair and I intend to continue with it.

The biggest thing I want to fix is the media. The majority of the audio and videos has been removed by Mediafire so I need to start from scratch. Obviously this is going to take a while to upload again but I think it is worth it as there isn’t another archive for band out there and I get regular messages from people asking for concerts.

Also 2018 marks 20 years since The Strokes formed and whilst the band themselves have never really been one to celebrate milestones I would like to do something for it – maybe a series of posts on my favourite moments from the band.

Anyway just wanted to let people know I’m still here, I was saddened to see that Eric closed down The Strokes News site as it was a valuable resource and I loved reading the comments when new music from the band was released. I’m aware though that fan interaction has changed over the years from forums and fansites to Twitter, Tumblr and Reddit but I’m still old school in many ways so this site is staying put!
