The Strokes to play SXSW SamsungGalaxy Life Festival (11 March 2016)

The Strokes are heading to music festival SXSW tonight (11 March 2016) to play a concert for Samsung Galaxy Life Festival.

The announcement comes as a bit of a surprise but as always with The Strokes you never quite knows what their plans are.

Tickets aren’t available via traditional means as per Billboard

“Samsung will hand out daily concert tickets only to Galaxy device owners and select SXSW badgeholders on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Samsung Studio located at 2nd and Trinity streets starting at 11 a.m. on the morning of each concert”

Hopefully some fans will get to see the show and report back. The Strokes are due onstage at 11pm local time.
